Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 30, 2026
Overview
This policy covers datastorystrategy.com, the website of Data Story Strategy. It explains what information the site collects, why, and who else handles it.
The site does not use advertising, does not sell personal information, and does not ask you to create an account. It does use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (see Analytics below).
The Revenue Readiness Assessment form
If you fill in the assessment form, it collects your name, email address, company name and website, and a short description of what you have built. If you choose, it also collects your company's stage, what is coming in the next six months, where conversations stall, and a link you would like us to look at first.
Your answers are sent to Formspree, the service that delivers form submissions to us by email. We use them only to prepare for and follow up on your assessment call. We do not sell them or share them with anyone else.
The technical product enquiry form
If you fill in the technical product enquiry form, it collects your name, email address, company name and website, and a description of your product. If you choose, it also collects what the product is built on, what is getting in the way, the kind of help you want, any other details, and additional links.
Your answers are sent through Formspree to Colin Tucker by email. We use them only to reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to run the engagement. We do not sell them or share them with anyone else.
Booking a call
After the form, you can book a time using Google Calendar's appointment scheduling, shown on our page. The details you enter there (such as your name and email address) are handled by Google, which sends the calendar invitation and adds a Google Meet link.
If you email us, we use your contact details and message only to reply to you and, if we work together, to run the engagement.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics to count visits and to see which pages are read, how visitors arrive, what kinds of devices they use, and whether the forms are completed. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID) to tell one visit from the next, and Google processes your IP address to produce these reports.
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, these cookies are not set. Google Analytics then receives only basic information that is not tied to a cookie, such as the page you viewed, without identifying your browser from one visit to the next.
You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Server logs
The site is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting. Like most web hosts, it may record standard request information such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, for security and operation of the service. We do not use this data to identify visitors.
Third-party services
The site's fonts are served from datastorystrategy.com itself, so your browser makes no font requests to Google. The services below handle information as described above and have their own privacy policies:
- Formspree (the assessment and technical enquiry forms): formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy
- Google (Analytics, Calendar appointment scheduling, Meet, and Firebase Hosting): policies.google.com/privacy
How long we keep it
We keep form answers and emails for one year, then delete them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted. If you have sent us either form, booked a call, or emailed us, contact us and we will help.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
