About Data Story Strategy

Commercial strategy, with technical product depth when you need it.

Data Story Strategy was co-founded by Jessica Daniel and Colin Tucker. Jessica leads commercial strategy for science and engineering founders. Colin leads technical product work for companies whose commercial challenge reaches into the product itself.

When we work together

Some problems cross the line between product and market. A company may be promising simplicity while onboarding remains difficult. A healthcare product may have strong evidence but a workflow clinicians will struggle to adopt. A founder may be preparing to scale sales while the underlying product still depends on manual work or fragile systems.

Jessica examines the buyer, the commercial story, the decision process, and what has to happen for adoption. Colin examines what the product asks the user to do and whether the technology can reliably support that experience. Together, we find where the market promise and the product reality fall out of alignment, then decide what needs to change.

Where to start

Every commercial engagement starts with a free 30-minute assessment. For a question about the product itself, start with Colin's technical product services.
